Inflation is out for Aug and unfortunately the banks and RBA were on point with the sharp increase to 4%. Biggest contributors are housing, fuel and electricity. Many of us will be paying close attention to the end of Oct and hopefully inflation comes down or we could be looking at another rate rise in Nov.

Cheaper properties are still climbing in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, and Darwin.

Meanwhile the top end keeps sliding. Same story everywhere. Buyers priced out of expensive markets are pouring into the affordable end and pushing those prices up.
