We're still incredibly excited about the possibility of running our inaugural South Korea Professional Learning Program later this year.

After reviewing the program in line with feedback received, we've made a number of adjustments and reduced the price as much as we realistically can.

To be transparent, this isn't something we expect to repeat in future years. Our goal is simply to give this inaugural departure the best chance of proceeding while keeping the experience accessible for educators who would like to join us.

🚀 Secondary STEM Opportunity – South Korea 🇰🇷

Global Teacher has recently received approval for Australian Government funding to support participation in RoboCup 2026, one of the world's leading robotics and AI events.

The funding provides support of up to $2,500 per student for up to 8 secondary school students to participate in a STEM-focused educational program in South Korea.

The proposed program is expected to include:

✅ Attendance at RoboCup 2026
✅ STEM and innovation-focused experiences
✅ Cultural activities and excursions
✅ Return flights, accommodation and transport

At this stage, we are seeking a secondary school (or small group of schools) interested in partnering with us for this opportunity.

📅 RoboCup 2026 takes place in South Korea from 30 June – 7 July 2026.

Due to the timing of the funding approval and event dates, schools would need to be able to move relatively quickly should sufficient interest exist.

We’re heading to the world-famous Gili Islands this January — and you’re invited to join us for an unforgettable international professional learning and cultural exchange experience on Gili Trawangan 🇮🇩

Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, vibrant island culture, and relaxed atmosphere, Gili T is the largest and most iconic of the three Gili Islands. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a private study tour in Bali with a wonderful group of 10 Early Childhood Educators from Australia 🌿

Throughout the experience, the group took part in a range of professional learning and cultural experiences including visiting Green School Bali, spending time with teachers and students at a local kindergarten, exploring the natural beauty of Bali, and enjoying some memorable team bonding experiences together.

One of the most rewarding parts of these programs is seeing educators connect, reflect and share ideas in completely different learning environments and cultural contexts.
