Flight update. We are still awaiting information regarding our delayed flight VA977 from Sydney to Brisbane. We are expecting to be delayed by at least 90 minutes at this stage. Please check Virgin flight status.

Year 6 families. Our plane has still not departed from Sydney. We are expected to be approximately 1 hour late. We will not be able to update you from the sky. Please keep track of the flight details on the internet. Thank you.

We are at Sydney airport and waiting for departure. Please check flight arrival time into Brisbane as boarding has been delayed.

Our Belmont State School 150th Anniversary Fete is just around the corner, and we still have lots of volunteer shifts to fill!

💙 Shifts are only 1 hour and 15 minutes – just a small part of your day, but it helps us share the workload so everyone can enjoy the fete with their family and friends.

Whether you can help on a stall, with setup or pack up, every volunteer role is essential to making this a fantastic day for our school community.

Well it’s almost too cold to type this morning! -3 degrees with a feels like temperature of -7! We were up very early, with bags packed and rooms clean (almost) for a 6am departure. A few tired bodies on the bus this morning. We are all looking forward to breakfast in Berrima.

Canberra Day 4 continued including Old Parliament House, AEC, High Court and Golf Club dinner last night.

We are still going strong in Canberra on Day 4. Today’s photos include the Australian War Memorial, National Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Terrace and Old Parliament House.
