I’m going to be in deep luteal phase on race day.

And if you’ve ever been a woman in deep luteal you KNOW.

The head noise is unlike anything else. It’s not weakness. It’s not lack of preparation.

It’s the hardest mindset phase a woman moves through - right before her period hits.

I’m going in anyway.

But also… deep luteal sometimes makes me extremely turned on so honestly?

Effort doesn’t mean depth.

And you know when it’s a no.
You just keep entertaining the maybe.

Stop dating to be chosen.
Start dating to observe.

You’re not here to prove yourself
you’re here to feel, notice and decide.

Before: “He’s good, let me make this work.”
Now: “He’s good… but does he meet me?”

You don’t need more attention.
You need alignment, depth, and someone who can hold you.

Pre-period bloat and my gym clothes were NOT doing what they do in ovulation. We know that phase. 😂

I lifted light. I did 45 mins. I left.
And I’m so okay with that.

Because it’s not my cycle that stops me from showing up - it’s when I stop listening to what my body actually wants.

Today she wanted to move, just… gently.

So that’s what we did.

Did my brain try to roast me the second I saw myself in the mirror?
Absolutely.

But then I kind of flirted with her instead.

The soft, bloated, showing-up-anyway version of me.

She’s doing her best and honestly she looks kind of cute. 🤍

Cycle awareness isn’t about perfect workouts. It’s about knowing your body well enough to show up for it - even when it looks different in the mirror than it did two weeks ago.

Vulnerability is sexy, so let’s flirt with your discomfort.

Not the performative kind where you’re fishing for sympathy.

The real, grounded, messy kind where you stop trying to hold it all together and just let yourself be human.

I had a conversation with guys who genuinely believe vulnerability is weakness. That if you show emotion or admit you don’t have all the answers, you’ve lost.

But they’re missing the whole point.

Vulnerability isn’t what happens when you’re weak. It’s what happens when you’re grounded enough to stop pretending.

When you stop bracing and start softening?

That’s when everything shifts.
Your body relaxes.
Your energy changes.
People can finally meet you where you actually are.

And yeah, it’s sexy.
Not in a seductive way.
But in a ‘I’m fully in my body and I’m not running from myself’ way.
