Where can a Metavision postgraduate program take you?
Join us for an inspiring, experiential session exploring the career pathways possible after studying psychotherapy at Metavision told through the story of our alumna Noula Diamantopoulos, now a psychotherapist, author, artist and international trainer.
From private practice to appearing in ABC's Space 22, developing workshops to teaching internationally, Noula's journey began right here. We'll explore where this path can lead, and the qualities it cultivates in us β presence, curiosity, the capacity to work deeply and authentically with others.

There's a particular quality to this time of year. Winter loosening its grip and something in us begins to stir.
This season, Metavision Institute opens three doorways into deeper work:
πΏ Wild Reverence: Somatic Ecotherapy β begins October
π± Holistic Counselling One (our foundational bridging course) β begins November
π Unit 101: Models for Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy β begins November
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about each pathway β who they're for, what they hold, and the people who guide them.
For now, we invite you to sit with a simple question: which door are you drawn to? Learn more via the link, or drop a comment β we'd love to hear what's calling you or if you have any questions.

We're more than six months into the year β a natural point to pause and look back before looking forward.
What has this year actually asked of you so far? Where did you grow, or stretch, or surprise yourself? What didn't go the way you'd hoped, and what has that taught you?
This kind of reflection isn't about harsh self-judgement. It's about honestly witnessing the first half of the year as it truly was, so we can step into the second half with intention rather than simply momentum.
If, in taking that stock, you feel a quiet pull toward study, we'd love to have you with us. Our bridging course Holistic Counselling and Unit 101 both open for November intake. Our Somatic Ecotherapy exploring the relationship between body, land, and healing, is currently open for October intake.
Wherever you find yourself as you look back on this year so far, we see you. If you're ready to explore what's next, we'd welcome you into our community. πΏ

Inner work is professional work.
At Metavision, we believe practitioners can only hold space for others to the depth they've held space for themselves. This monthβs masterclass explored that philosophy through a taster of our Inner Work Unit focusing on two foundational meta skills: beginner's mind and compassion.
We covered:
β Why personal therapy is a required part of training, not an afterthought
β The roots of these skills in process work β seeing symptoms as information, not problems
β A guided practice in meeting a difficult part of ourselves with curiosity and warmth
Reflections from the group: relief, spaciousness, patience, gratitude. πΏ

We train the whole person.
Because before you can meet someone else in their healing, you have to know your own depths.
That's the thread running through our programs β somatic awareness, process-oriented psychology, Eastern philosophy, and the wisdom of Rudolf Steiner, woven into one integrated way of seeing. Body, soul, spirit, and the world we're part of.
If something in you has been quietly asking for more than technique-based training, we'd love to meet you where you are.

During our June intensives, our students came together for an opportunity to deepen both their learning and their understanding of themselves.
Some of the most meaningful parts of becoming a counsellor or psychotherapist aren't found in textbooks. They emerge through reflection, relationship and the willingness to engage with our own inner world.
Learning to distinguish what belongs to us from what belongs to the client is an essential part of ethical, compassionate practice. It is this self-awareness that allows therapists to be fully present in the therapeutic relationship.
We want to acknowledge our students β their openness, courage and commitment to the process was deeply moving to witness. Thank you for trusting the journey and for showing up so wholeheartedly.

Your next journey doesn't begin with having it all figured out. It begins with a single, honest step.
Our mid-year intake starts very soon, with two pathways to choose from:
πΏ Graduate Diploma of Counselling (Holistic Practice) β a one-year postgraduate program, a supported entry point into holistic counselling
πΏ Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy (Holistic Practice) β a two-year postgraduate program for those ready for advanced, specialised study
Both are offered fully online or in a blended format, with flexible part-time options to meet you where life has you right now.
Whichever door you're ready to walk through, we'll meet you there.

What makes a holistic counsellor different isn't just the modalities they know.
It's the work they've done on themselves first.
Inner Work is one of the most distinctive β and most transformative β units in our courses. It's where students begin to understand themselves as the instrument of their practice. And where the training stops being academic, and starts being real.
Next week, we're opening the door to that experience with a free masterclass β a chance to explore what Inner Work involves, how it shapes the kind of practitioner you become, and what students discover along the way that no textbook could have told them.

Where can a holistic counselling qualification actually take you?
Further than you might think.
Our graduates go on to work in grief and bereavement support, trauma-informed therapy, mental health counselling, LGBTQIA+ support, school wellbeing programs, Employee Assistance Programs, and supervision roles β in private practice, community organisations, health services, and educational institutions.
What connects all of it isn't the setting. It's the capacity to listen deeply, hold space, and meet people in the complexity of who they are.
That capacity starts with inner work β long before it ever reaches a client.
Curious what a future in holistic counselling could look like for you? We'd love to talk it through.
