🎮 This week we hosted our first workshop for the semester: INTRO TO: UNITY FOR XR WORKSHOP.
🕹️We looked at navigating the Unity editor and we made a quick boxing game for PC/VR (think Beat Saber) !

Looking for hands-on experience in XR/tech in sem 2?
Look no further!
This semester, UQ Reality Labs is opening up its Industry Project to anyone interested in XR/software! Participants will be working in Unity to develop an interactive referee training experience for our sponsor company NUAXION.
You will gain:
💻 hands-on experience building a REAL project to be used by our sponsor company
🫂 the opportunity to meet like-minded teammates
👾 site visit to see the XR technology used for the project
‼️ valuable technical and teamwork skills
Level of commitment: Weekly meetups (flexible during exams) and outside hours of work to meet checkpoints.
Our Intro to Unity workshop will also be running in Week 2 for project participants less familiar with Unity.
