Over the past two days, we invited our students to sit down, have a chat and check in on each other.

Yes, we’re fashionably late (due to our students starting T3 🎉) but better late than never as we made sure the conversation still had its moment.

Moral of the story: check on your friends and not just when are you okay? Day comes around but always 🫶

Hi, I'm Daisy! Your Adelaide tour guide (and student Ambassador)! 🗺️✨

Honestly, one of my favourite things about studying here is how easy the city is to get around - everything's close by, so balancing study, work and friends actually feels doable! Add in the cosy cafes, the parks, and random events popping off all year and Adelaide is the perfect place to study.

My recommendations for trips outside the city:
Hahndorf: a famous German village, 30 mins from the C*D. Good food, good drive, easy day trip.
🍓 Beerenberg: 5 mins from Hahndorf, and an actual must if you catch strawberry season!
🦘 Hindmarsh Valley: 1.5 hrs out, perfect for a spontaneous weekend trip. If you're lucky you'll spot some kangaroos!
🌊 Granite Island (Victor Harbour): 2 hrs from the C*D, great for a scenic drive + hike when you need to clear your head.

There's so much more to studying at Ikon in Adelaide than the classroom - student life happens everywhere in between.
