Last week we were so lucky to have Ocean Life visit our centre for an incursion! The children were fascinated as they learnt about a variety of amazing sea creatures and had the incredible opportunity to gently touch sea stars, sea cucumbers, sea urchins and a turtle, as well as get an up-close look at a shark! We discovered lots of interesting facts about ocean animals, including that some sharks can have up to 300 teeth!!! Thank you Ocean Life for supporting our little learners and helping create meaningful connections within our community 🐢

A huge shout out to Covenant Security Solutions for the amazing new security gates that you installed at our beautiful Kindergarten over the holidays.

At Aspley East Kindergarten, the safety and wellbeing of our children is always our highest priority. These new gates are an important addition to our security measures, further strengthening our commitment to child safety and providing an even safer environment for our children, families, and staff.

We are incredibly grateful for Covenant Security Solutions' professionalism, quality workmanship, and support in helping us create a safe and secure learning environment for our kindergarten community.

Today we had a very special farewell to one of our much-loved teachers, Debbie Quig, as she begins her well-earned retirement after an incredible 26 years at Aspley East Kindy.

For more than two decades, she has been a constant source of kindness, care, dedication and support to countless children, families and colleagues. Her passion for early childhood education and the genuine connections she has built over the years have left a lasting impact on our kindy community.

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are also so grateful for the 26 wonderful years she has shared with us. The memories, laughter and difference she has made in the lives of so many will never be forgotten.

Please join us in thanking her for her outstanding contribution and wishing her all the very best for this exciting new chapter. May your retirement be filled with happiness, relaxation, adventure and all the things you love Debbie. 

You will be deeply missed and will always remain a cherished part of the Aspley East Kindy family 💐😍🩷

As another wonderful term comes to an end, we would like to thank all of our amazing children and families for a fantastic term of learning, laughter, growth, and fun.
