After 22 years of service to our school community, Mrs Makepeace is hanging up her whistle and heading into a well-earned retirement.
Energetic, clever and passionate about helping students succeed, Mrs Makepeace has challenged us all to strive for our best. Known for her quick wit, high expectations and unwavering commitment to our school, she has made a lasting impact on students, staff and families alike.
We will miss her banter, her determination and her drive to make our school the best it can be.
Please join us in thanking Mrs Makepeace for her incredible contribution and wishing her all the best for her next chapter. Congratulations and enjoy the adventure ahead! πŸŽ‰πŸ’™

It’s National Reconciliation Week - a time for learning, respect, and walking together. At our school, we are proud of the many cultures, languages and stories that make up our community. Many of our families have travelled their own journeys of hope, belonging, and understanding in Australia. Reconciliation reminds us of the importance of listening to one another, valuing different perspectives, and building strong relationship together. As a school community, we continue learning about and honouring the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Together, we can create a future built on kindness, respect, and connection for all children and families. β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ–€

National Reconciliation Week invites all Queenslanders to come together, reflect and take meaningful steps toward a more inclusive future.

From 27 May to 3 June 2026, communities across the state will mark the week through events that honour culture, deepen understanding and encourage genuine conversations. It’s an opportunity for all of us to learn more about the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

πŸ’• On Monday, our school community proudly came together for Pink Day β€” dressing in pink and sharing a special morning tea to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Cancer impacts so many people we know and love. Every donation helps support vital research, improve treatments, and bring hope to those diagnosed with cancer.

Please help us make a difference by scanning the QR code and donating to the Cancer Council. Every contribution, big or small, matters. πŸ’—

If your child is unwell, please check the information below carefully to see how long they need to stay home before returning to school. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and well.

We greatly missed our much-loved Mother’s Day Stall this year and would love your support to help keep these important community events alive for our students and families. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, we would value your involvement.
