📚 National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 📚

Today our children and educators joined children all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime! 🌟

This year’s story was Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd.
The children loved sharing the story together and exploring literacy through discussion, creativity and play. ❤️📖

🏉 STATE OF ORIGIN DRESS UP DAY 🏉

What an exciting day at the centre as our children and educators showed off their team spirit for State of Origin Game One! 💙❤️

We loved seeing everyone dressed in their team colours, jerseys and accessories while enjoying a day full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition. The children had a fantastic time talking about their favourite teams, participating in themed experiences and celebrating together.

A big thank you to all our families for joining in the fun and helping make the day so special! We can’t wait to see who takes the win tonight! 🏆

🐝 World Bee Day at Kids Academy Darra 🐝

Today our little learners were buzzing with excitement as we celebrated World Bee Day at the centre! The children explored all things bees through hands-on experiences including creating their very own bee hives, colourful bee-inspired paintings, and fun sensory and craft activities. 🎨🍯

It was wonderful to see the children using their creativity, teamwork and imagination while learning about the important role bees play in our environment. From painting bright yellow masterpieces to building buzzing bee homes, every activity was filled with smiles and engagement. 🐝💛

We love creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and environmental awareness. What a sweet day of learning and fun!

🦷✨ We are excited to share that Kids Academy Darra has received some wonderful Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures packs for our children! ✨🦷

These packs are designed to help encourage healthy oral hygiene habits from a young age and include fun resources to support children in learning the importance of caring for their teeth. Each pack contains a mini toothpaste, toothbrush, brushing chart and educational activities. 🪥😁

Families are welcome to take one pack per enrolled child from our display at the front desk while stocks last.

🦖🎨 Kindy Creativity in Action! 🎨🦖

Our Kindy children have been busy bringing their Dinosaur Room project to life! With a dinosaur right on the table to inspire them, the children explored painting, carefully observing details and adding their own creative touches.

They have also been working together to create their very own dinosaur using cardboard boxes showing fantastic teamwork, problem-solving and imagination as their creation comes to life!

It’s been wonderful to see their creativity grow as they experiment with colours, textures and ideas while learning more about these fascinating creatures.

We can’t wait to see how their dinosaur world continues to evolve! 🌿✨
