🎶 Hot Cross buns, hot cross buns, one a penny two a penny, hot cross buns! 🎶

Ingredients
For the buns
• 500g strong white bread flour
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 heaped tsp mixed spice
• 50g caster sugar
• 50g butter , chopped into cubes
• 200g mixed dried fruit
• 7g sachet easy-blend dried yeast
• 200ml milk
• 2 eggs
For the crosses & glaze
• 3 tbsp plain flour
• honey or golden syrup, for brushing

1. Mix the dough in a stand mixer.
2. Divide into 8 portions.
3. With greased hands, roll each portion into a ball.
4. Let rise in the pan for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
5. Brush with egg wash.
6. Bake and cool.
7. Pipe icing crosses.

Children love to squish, squash and get creative with PLAYDOUGH - Making play dough without cooking is an easy and fun way to entertain the children!
Ingredients for a no Cook playdough Recipe
1 cup salt
3 cups plain flour
60ml vegetable oil
food colouring
250ml (1 cup) warm water
ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND THEN MIX 🤩

Dear families
As per the Government amendment to school start dates, we are happy to be able to offer our families and communities a fun and caring environment for your school age child. Please ask about our special package that we can offer you. The Essential workers restriction is not applied to Early Learning Centres, so if you are looking for a safe and fun environment for your school age child to attend, please give us a call on 3848 2020. We operate from 6.30am – 6pm.

As of today masks will be required indoors as per the government rules.
So when we open on the 4th January all educators, parents and visitors to our centre will be required to be masked up before entering the premises.
