📚✨ Book Week Adventure! ✨📚
On Friday, our kindy children had a wonderful adventure to St Kevin’s to watch their incredible Book Week Parade!
Making connections with our local community and giving our children a glimpse into life as a Prep student is so important to us. It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate books, see the excitement of ‘big school’ and create special connections along the way.
Thank you, St Kevin’s, for welcoming us!

We had a wonderful visit from Officer Meghan. She spoke with us about her important role in keeping our community safe and taught us all about road safety. 🚗🛑
We learned why it’s so important to always wear our seatbelts and stay safely in our car seats when travelling in the car.

Today our kindy children took ‘risky play’ to the next level. The children completed their own risk assessment and set clear expectations around using tools and construction materials under close supervision. 🔨 🧰

As part of our learning about different occupations, we are fortunate to draw on the knowledge and expertise of our kindy families.
Recently, Sheree, a veterinary nurse, visited us to share all about her important role caring for animals. The children enjoyed learning about what a veterinary nurse does and had the opportunity to engage in some wonderful veterinary-themed role play.
A big thank you to Sheree for sharing her knowledge and helping to inspire our little learners! 💕

Did someone say pumpkin?
The kindy children have been caring for their vegetable garden so incredibly well, they have their first grown pumpkin. We can’t wait for Mr Sam to use it in the kitchen 🎃

Our Kindy 2 children have been exploring the connection between technology and literacy through hands-on play!
Using a giant hand-drawn keyboard, children matched foam letter rocks to the correct keys, building letter recognition while developing an understanding of how keyboards are used to communicate. This engaging experience encouraged children to recognise letters, strengthen early literacy skills, and discover how technology helps us share ideas, messages, and stories in everyday life.
