Our beautiful Wally Wombat (Super Wally) doing what he loves!
After a well-deserved summer break, Wally was very happy to be back in his favourite place this morning — joining the ladies in our Rebuild program.
There’s nothing quite like a bit of pampering from a wonderful group of women to warm the heart of our big, soft thoroughbred (and quite possibly the world’s slowest racehorse), Super Wally.
He may not have been “super” on the racetrack, but he is an absolute superstar in our programs, bringing calm, connection, and a whole lot of heart to every session.
This term’s Rebuild program has been made possible thanks to the proceeds from our “Pause for a Cause” fundraiser held in November last year.
We are incredibly grateful to organiser (and gong extraordinaire!) Roz Bolton of Rebellicious Vibes with Roz along with the many generous supporters who attended. Because of this, five wonderful women have been able to take part in our benevolent Rebuild program this term.
Watch this space, there could well be another "Gong" Fundraiser on the cards as we have many requests for another session!

I have loved watching this little guy grow up! He was about 3cm long when I first noticed him perhaps a year ago! He just hangs around the feed shed and goes about his daily business not bothering anyone 💕

What a start to the week!! Too hot and smokey yesterday and so wet today but we are not complaining about the rain!
In amongst it all, a little ray of sunshine has returned, quite possible with a baby we suspect.
Our group this morning had the pleasure to be the first to say hello to Camilla from a distance!! She was very keen for a carrot and we think she is pretty impressed with the beautiful artwork that have been added to her home!
The horses teach us so much but how lovely is it to be able to share the space with so many other beautiful animals to immerse in the experience here at WRP?

The night that changed the trajectory of our charity partner Reason to Thrive!
Thank you The Calile Hotel and everyone who supported it and a big shout out to our local WestVETS Equine Hospital for their significant surprise in-kind donation on the night! A night we will never forget! Thank you!!

It was with pleasure that Whiterock Peak was again able to support the Crows Nest Show & Showgrounds again last weekend.
Along with M W Clarke & Associates, Whiterock Peak was the major sponsors of Ring 3 - Australian Stock Horses
Due to other commitments, we were unable to make it up to Crows Nest this year, but the horse ring organisers reported that "the competitors were a ray of sunshine the whole day" :)))
Attached is a photo of John Willcocks of Tenterfield (who was racing between the horse and cattle rings all day I'm told)! with his two beautifully turned-out horses Umagarlee Evie HSH and Umargarlee Swift HSH that took out the Led Champion prizes.
Congatulations to all the competitors and a huge congratulations to the show's organising committee, it is a tough job putting on these events, one not for the faint hearted so kudos to you all.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust for their generous donation, which will fund two Women’s Rebuild programs before the end of 2025.
Like most of our programs, the Women’s Rebuild program is fully funded thanks to the generosity of donors like the Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust, ensuring that there is absolutely no cost to the women who participate or the organisations that support them.
There is no doubt that these programs are life-changing. Equine Assisted Learning offers a powerful, experiential approach to healing and personal growth, particularly for women who have experienced trauma. Horses are highly intuitive and non-judgmental, providing a safe space where women can rebuild confidence, develop emotional resilience, and strengthen their sense of self. Working alongside these incredible animals fosters trust, communication, and empowerment—all essential elements for healing from trauma.
Through guided interactions with the horses, participants gain valuable insights into their emotions, boundaries, and coping strategies. The hands-on nature of the program helps women reconnect with themselves, regain a sense of control, and build meaningful connections with others on a similar journey.
We are incredibly grateful for the support that makes these programs possible and look forward to seeing the profound impact they will have on the women who take part. Thank you LMCT for your continued generosity.

Stay safe everyone x
RTT Update:
For all our RTT supporters, we just wanted to share a quick update on our severe weather preparations here at Whiterock Peak.
Yesterday morning, we were fortunate to run our only program this week, the Horse Whispering Youth Program. It was a "mastery" session filled with powerful learning moments, and in our debrief, words like courage, patience, and willingness stood out—qualities we know will be invaluable in the coming days.
With schools preparing for the weather, all external excursions have been canceled for the rest of the week. Our thoughts are particularly with the staff and students at Milpera State High School as they work to ensure the school's safety during yet another weather event. They have done this so many times before and your RTT friends are sending you all our best wishes!
As for our beautiful horses, the best practice in these severe weather conditions is to give them access to open space. Thanks to our wonderful neighbours, many of them are grazing peacefully in familiar spacious paddocks, enjoying the sunshine while they can. The rest of the herd remains safe, high and dry at home, where they can be closely monitored and receive their daily care.
A huge thank you to Nick and Brody for helping today—moving items undercover and securing the property against flying debris.
Thank you for all the messages and offers of help, we are feeling very blessed at the moment. We are lucky in that we have access to everything we need, open spaces, high ground, stables if need be, a full hay and feed shed so we are feeling as prepared as we can be.
Stay safe South East Queensland!
With love
RTT Team, Committee & Horses xx
