🦁 LEC Time - Week 4 🦁

This week in LEC Time, our students will be celebrating positive behaviours through our Transition Competition, revisiting the Second Step Problem Solving Steps, and exploring Expectations of the After School Pick Up Zones. Students will also get a say with what they would like to see in LEC Time over the next fortnight.

To finish the week, our school community will come together to celebrate the Feast Day of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, reflecting on her inspiring message to "Never see a need without doing something about it."

We look forward to another week of building students' social, emotional, and behavioural skills through our focus on Love, Excellence, and Courage.

A team of 17 Sacred Heart students proudly represented our school at the Central Comets Athletics Trials held at UQ yesterday and today.

Our students demonstrated incredible determination, resilience, and sportsmanship as they competed against some of the region’s most talented young athletes.

We had some outstanding achievements throughout the day, but a special shout-out must go to Malia, who not only claimed 1st place in Discus but also set a new Central Comets record with an incredible throw of 33.76 meters!

Congratulations to every student who participated. Your determination, resilience, sportsmanship and positive attitude are a credit to yourselves, your families, and our school community.👏🏅💚💛

💚✨Grandparents Day ✨💚

What a wonderful celebration! Sacred Heart was delighted to welcome grandparents and special visitors for a beautiful morning together.

After enjoying breakfast, our special guests joined us for a beautiful liturgy before heading into classrooms to share memories in games of bingo, trivia, craft activities.

The bond between grandparents and their grandchildren is unique - the intergenerational love, care, wisdom and teachings shared can last a lifetime. Our students loved spending quality time with the people who hold such special places in their hearts!
