This time last week our Prep students were at Trevena Glen Farm as part of their English unit for Term 3, where they explored informative texts and learned about farm animals.
The excursion was a wonderful opportunity for students to bring their classroom learning to life! Throughout the day, our Preps participated in four exciting rotations, enjoying a tractor ride, brushing the horses, feeding some very messy pigs and hungry sheep, and gently patting the guinea pigs. 🐷🐹
Students became real-life fact finders, asking questions, making observations and discovering lots of new information about farm animals and how they are cared for.
