This week we were so lucky to welcome one of our Harvest mums, who is a nurse, to share with the children what nurses do and how they help us feel better. 👩‍⚕️💕
Harvest has been learning all about health, our bodies and caring for others!
The children then enjoyed hands-on, medical-themed experiences and role-play, putting their learning into action! 🩹🧸

Our Kindy program is enriched by the incredible experiences Uncle Alara brings each Wednesday. 🌿🤎
Through engaging Indigenous practices, stories and hands-on experiences, he creates meaningful opportunities for children to connect with and develop respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Nothing says EKKA season quite like a strawberry sundae! 🍓🍦🎡
Our Babies and Juniors soaked up the sunshine while enjoying this iconic EKKA treat together in the yard. Moments like these are about so much more than something tasty, as these shared experiences support children’s wellness and wellbeing, creating opportunities for connection, belonging, joy and positive relationships. 🤍

For the month of July, our children in Japanese with Miss Meg, celebrated Tanabata (Star Festival),a cherished Japanese tradition celebrated on 7 July. 🌟
Children wrote and decorated their own wishing stars before hanging them on bamboo branches, learning about the festival while expressing their hopes and dreams.
At The Brook, we love exploring different cultures through meaningful, hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and celebrate diversity. 💛
