Our Construction Vehicle Excursion! 🏗️

With construction happening around Playhouse, our little learners have been so curious about the big machines, different sounds and busy workers they see each day. Buildcorp kindly turned that curiosity into a special hands-on experience, bringing the construction vehicles up close for our children and families to explore together. 💛

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, we welcomed the Googabinj Show to Playhouse.

The children enjoyed an engaging and interactive cultural experience through traditional storytelling, music, dancing, and learning about Aboriginal culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate together.

Today is a great reminder that sunglasses aren’t just a fun accessory they also help protect our eyes from harmful UV rays. Don’t forget your sunnies, hat, sunscreen and shade for a fun and SunSmart day outdoors!

A huge thank you to Georgia from Indooroopilly Police Station for visiting us today. Our Quokkas and Perenties enjoyed learning about the role of police officers in our community, exploring the equipment Georgia carries and discovering why each item is used.

The whole centre also had the opportunity to head outside, see the police car up close, watch the lights in action and listen to the different siren sounds with everyone having their own favourite! 🚨💙
