Have you learnt something new recently?
Today, I share a Chinese proverb on learning:
熟能生巧,勤能补拙 - shú néng shēng qiǎo, qín néng bǔ zhuō.
It means: practice makes perfect, dilligience makes up one’s dullness.
So, practice what you learnt and get better at it :)
Have a Mandarin
I have passion for teaching and learning languages. Let's talk.
Experienced teacher of Mandarin Chinese, I not only teach the language but also enjoy sharing wisdom, philosophy, music and arts of Asian culture.
Today, I share with you a Chinese proverb:
一笑解千愁 (Yī xiào jiě qiān chou)
Literally means: one smile undoes 1,000 worries
A smile dispels many worries.
Smile :)
My new method of teaching Mandarin is through music. I let the learners choose their favourite songs, I translate the important vocabularies in the lyrics, then we sing along. It's irresistible to sing - not just listen, the songs we enjoy, anytime, anywhere. You'll always remember the words and sentences you learnt with Jun. It's fun :)
