Over the last 6 months, the BHFM team have worked around the clock trying to put together an amazing farmers market for our community. We wanted to bring you everything you wanted and more. Unfortunately we have been unable to do this. Due to massive price rises and weather events, securing farmers and fresh produce suppliers has been impossible and believe us, we have tried. Hundreds of phone calls, emails, meetings … the list goes on and on. We’ve had people booked in, we’ve had people cancel. We don’t want to disappoint anyone and because of this, we have made the hard decision to postpone our grand opening. When will the new date be? We still don’t know. But until we can secure the vendors you all want, we can't commit to a new date. We thought 6 months would have been sufficient time, but in these tough times, it just wasn’t long enough.
As disappointed as we are, there is still hope! We are just a bunch of volunteers trying our hardest to bring something to our community and in return hoping to raise some much needed funds for our beloved Bald Hills Memorial Hall. We are still living in hope that one day, we can bring this amazing market to you all.
To our amazing, supporitve vendors: you will receive an email today from our Market Manager. We thank you so much for your support and it is with a dissapointed, heavy heart that we bring this news to you today.

Did you know Bald Hills has a community garden?
As an extension of local school, St. Paul’s, is St. Paul’s Community Garden. It’s open to everyone to enjoy, or be a working member of. They also sell plants at very reasonable prices and will be at our farmers market.
Check them out and grab yourself a botanical bargain. Chat to Nigel (the garden’s real life gnome) if you’d like to know more about the community garden. Also what Nigel doesn’t know about gardening is not worth knowing and he’s always keen to share his knowledge, or give gardening advice.

Who is the Bald Hills Farmers Market Crew?
We are a bunch of locals who are donating our time to create a wonderful market for our community and surrounds. We are all about supporting local. Local businesses, local artists and local musicians.
We are 100% non for profit with all monies raised going towards our beloved Bald Hills Memorial Hall. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the costs of an upgrade of the outdated toilet block enabling those with a disability to facilitate the toilets. Our Memorial Hall was erected in memory of the soldiers from the district who served in World War One and as it is the location for the annual Anzac Day Service in our area and we think our diggers deserve the opportunity to access toilet facilities that are supportive of people with disabilities.
So your continued support in the lead up to our grand opening is appreciated beyond words! We can’t wait to see you all on the 11th March!
