Get ready to roll out of bed and come to school in your favourite pyjamas on Wednesday 5th August! 🧸💤

🪙 Gold coin donation all proceeds will support our Student Council

Please remember that students must wear school-appropriate enclosed shoes to ensure everyone stays safe throughout the day. 👟

We can't wait to see everyone's cosy pyjamas and have a fun day supporting a great cause! 💚✨

🏃💙💛❤️ What an incredible day at our Years 3–6 Sports Day Field Events on Friday!
Our students showed outstanding determination, teamwork, resilience and school spirit as they competed across the field events. A huge congratulations to every student for giving their best and cheering on their teammates throughout the day! 👏
A very special thank you to Mrs Florager for her incredible organisation and dedication in making the day such a success as always, everything ran so smoothly! We also extend our thanks to our amazing EBSS staff for their support and enthusiasm, and to our wonderful friends from Coorparoo State Secondary College, including some familiar EBSS alumni, who helped make the day extra special.
After the excitement of welcoming the Olympic celebration to EBSS the day before, our students were certainly inspired to give it their all. What a fantastic way to finish an unforgettable couple of days of sport! 🥇✨

This webinar is packed with insights to help you support the young people in your life.

From 1 July 2026, tougher laws for e-scooters and e-bikes will be rolled out including:
new police powers to seize and destroy illegal devices
riders must be aged 16+ and hold a licence from 31 August (some exemptions apply)
parents can be fined if children under 16 ride illegally
fines of more than $500 for offences including not wearing a helmet, doubling and careless riding
12km/h speed limits on footpaths and when passing pedestrians on shared paths.

🏀🎉Congratulations to Sydney B in Year 7 who, along with Southern District Spartans Red team U14 Division 3, recently won Gold medals for both SQJBC and State Championship last week.

Sydney is also proud to represent Met East Team (10-12 girls) and will be competing at the upcoming competition (State Championship) in September!
