Free Food Pantry – supporting our school and local community
Our Free Food Pantry at Church@Gabba will continue for the remainder of the school year, running on the fourth Thursday of the month.
Thursday 22 October
Thursday 26 November
9:00am – 11:00am
Church@Gabba, directly across the road from East Brisbane State School
Fresh food, pantry staples and other grocery items will be available free of charge. Everyone in our school and local community is welcome to come along.
Thank you to Brisbane City Council, East Brisbane State School, Harvesters Storehouse and Church at the Gabba for working together to support our community.

Congratulations to Perkins House for winning this term’s Curlew Credit Competition! What a fantastic effort from our Perkins students!

To celebrate, Perkins students will enjoy a special Activity Afternoon this Friday and are welcome to wear blue to school on Friday! 💙

We are very grateful to Chappy Dave for his immense support in securing this generous supply of bread for our East Brisbane State School families.
We know that a little extra support can make a big difference, and we are pleased to be able to share this with our school community.
Bread will be available for families to pick up from 2:30pm TODAY at East Brisbane State School.
Families are welcome to come along and take what they need. Please share this with any EBSS families who may benefit.

These three houses are going head-to-head in our Curlew Credit Competition for the chance to win a special Activity Afternoon this Friday!

Today we celebrate a truly special milestone as we recognise 20 incredible years of Ms Phillips at East Brisbane State School. 🎉
For two decades, Ms Phillips has been a constant and much loved part of our school community. Her warmth, kindness and genuine care for our students, families and staff have left a lasting mark on the EBBS family. 💚💛
For so many of us, Ms Phillips is one of the very first faces we see each morning, greeting our students and families with a warm smile and helping make EBBS feel like home.
Twenty years represents so many memories, friendships, moments of laughter and countless acts of care that have helped shape our school community.
Thank you, Ms Phillips, for everything you have given to EBBS and for being such a special part of our school family. 💚💛
