Our first restaurant collab event — done! 🎌🍜

We teamed up with TAKAKURA Japanese Style Restaurant for "Learn & EAT!! Japanese Dining Experience" — a chance to learn real, useful Japanese while enjoying an actual Japanese dining experience together.

From ordering phrases to restaurant etiquette, everyone left with hands-on practice (and a certificate of completion to prove it 📜).

"It was fun and really enjoyable to have such a great event! Definitely worth it!" — one of our participants said it best.

Our first language exchange event outside Australia 🌏✨

We teamed up for a collaboration event overseas — and it was honestly one of our favourite ones yet. Joyce worked behind the scenes designing the activities and games that got everyone talking, laughing, and connecting across languages.

Moments like these remind us why we do this: language exchange isn’t just about words, it’s about the people you meet along the way.
