🧱💬 BUILD AND CHAT IS BRINGING LEGO® FUN TO AGED CARE COMMUNITIES

Our Build and Chat sessions are continuing to grow, and we are delighted to now have a number of sessions taking place across Brisbane aged care and retirement communities.

During each session, residents work together to build engaging LEGO® models in a relaxed, supportive environment. It is about much more than building—it creates opportunities for conversation, connection and shared achievement.

Build and Chat can support:

✋ Fine motor skills and coordination
💬 Conversation, storytelling and memory
🤝 Social connection and teamwork
🌟 Confidence and a sense of accomplishment

We bring the LEGO® kits, equipment and facilitator, making it easy for lifestyle teams to introduce something different and engaging for their residents.

Enrolments are now open for our Young Engineers Term 3 After-School Program, where children learn through exciting, hands-on LEGO® engineering challenges.

Across the term, students will design, build, test and improve working models while developing:

Our Master Builders and Engineers of Tomorrow had an action-packed day designing, building, testing and improving their LEGO® creations.

Behind every model and challenge, children were developing valuable skills and knowledge, including:

One of the things we love most about Young Engineers is that students don't just follow instructions.

They test ideas.
They make mistakes.
They try again.

Sometimes a model doesn't work the first time.

Sometimes it takes a few adjustments, a different approach, or a little persistence to figure it out.

And that's exactly where some of the best learning happens.

Because while engineering concepts matter, learning how to think through a challenge, adapt, and keep going is a skill students will use for life.

At Young Engineers, the finished model is only part of the story.

The thinking behind it is where the real magic happens.
