Brisbane Central Toastmasters delivered an energetic and inspiring meeting themed around Chinese New Year, immersing members and guests in the holiday's rich origin story, zodiac traditions, and the bold expectations for the Year of the Fire Horse—emphasizing bravery, leadership, and fearless action.

Three outstanding prepared speeches captivated the audience with personal tales of triumph. Speakers shared inspirational marathon training journeys, insights from leadership podcasts, and bold decisions like relocating across the world, perfectly aligning with the theme's call to embrace courageous leadership. Table Topics challenged participants with tricky, in-depth prompts that sparked lively responses, while textbook evaluations showcased the club's depth of public speaking expertise and constructive feedback skills.

The club adapted seamlessly to its new venue at the Stock Exchange in Brisbane CBD, creating a professional atmosphere that enhanced the evening's energy. We welcomed three new guests and one returning visitor, who confirmed their intent to join as a member soon—signaling strong growth momentum for our 1682nd meeting.

What an incredible night at Brisbane Central Toastmasters! Our meeting at the new venue, The Stock Exchange in the CBD, was fully booked with 6 fantastic new guests joining the energy.

The KFC theme sparked non-stop chicken jokes and heaps of humour throughout the evening's activities, while we enjoyed 3 stellar prepared speeches—one on bush turkeys, another on enhancing our club's brand and reputation, and a phenomenal ice-breaker from one of our newest, most talented members.
