A pleasure and humbling experience to be able to donate robotics sets and train teachers and volunteers at Mthimkhulu Community Development in Klienmond!

The recent EV3 robotics training conducted at the Mthimkhulu Community Development Centre proved to be an engaging and highly valuable experience for our team. Through this programme, our trainers were equipped with practical skills to introduce children to the fundamentals of coding and robotics, opening up exciting new learning pathways for them. The training exceeded our expectations in both depth and accessibility, making complex concepts approachable and enjoyable. We found it not only informative but also inspiring, as it highlighted the potential of robotics to build problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence among participants. We are grateful to Danie Heymans from Handsontech, as well as his role in WRO South Africa, for delivering such a meaningful and impactful training, which we believe will have lasting benefits for both our facilitators and the young people we serve 🤖

Great to catch up with colleagues from the WRO Board, Advisory Council and Operations Team as we plan for the future and in particularly look at how we deal with and incorporate the influence of AI. Very quick stop in Munich, not much time to see any sites ... 😏
