🎭✨GRADUATE NEWS!** ✨🎭

We are incredibly excited to congratulate Stageworx graduates Jess Bo Molefe and bulelo landman who have all been cast in the ensemble of Janice Honeyman’s 2026 Pantomime, *Alice in Wonderland*, at Joburg Theatre 🌟🐇🎩❤️

Janice Honeyman’s legendary annual pantomime is one of Johannesburg’s most loved festive theatre traditions, and this year’s brand-new production promises a spectacular Wonderland filled with music, comedy, colourful costumes, huge production numbers and plenty of theatrical magic!

The production features an incredible South African cast and runs at Joburg Theatre from 28 October to 24 December 2026.

We are SO proud to see three of our graduates stepping onto this stage together and continuing to build their professional careers in the industry. ❤️

🎭✨MORE GRADUATE NEWS!✨🎭

A huge congratulations to **Stageworx graduates Kutloano and Bo Molefe , who will be taking to the stage in Semi-Soet – Die Musiekblyspel at The Teatro at Montecasino!** 🌟

Following its hugely successful 2025 run, Semi-Soet – Die Musiekblyspelis back bigger than ever, moving onto one of South Africa’s biggest stages for a special season at the Teatro from **4–20 September 2026**. 🎶🎭

Inspired by the much-loved South African romantic comedy *Semi-Soet*, the musical brings together romance, comedy, fantastic music and high-energy choreography in an expanded production created especially for the Teatro stage.

We absolutely LOVE seeing our graduates continuing to work, grow and make their mark in the professional performing arts industry — and it is extra special to see Kutloano and Bo sharing the stage in this production! ❤️

🎭✨AND THE GRADUATE NEWS KEEPS COMING!✨🎭

A massive congratulations to **Stageworx graduate Phil Higgins, who has been cast as Prudy Pingleton in Scenario Productions’ professional production of Hairspray – The Broadway Musical! 💗🎶

This is an especially exciting milestone as *Hairspray* returns to the professional South African stage for the first time since 2007, running from 22 October – 7 November 2026 at Die Centurion Teater

Philippa will take on the brilliantly funny role of Prudy Pingleton, Penny’s extremely strict and conservative mother — a fantastic character role with plenty of opportunity for Philippa to show off her wonderful comic talent! 🌟

Even more excitingly, Hairspray*marks Philippa’s professional musical theatre debut After returning from overseas earlier this year! What an incredible achievement and such a special next step in her professional career. ❤️
