In 2019 the Roux Family purchased a property in Spionkop Road to develop for Bateleur College High School and sports fields. Sadly Covid put those plans on hold, but we are now finally able to start on development of the ground.

Our first item on the list is PROJECT SPORTS FIELD.

We have two acres of sloped land that can be utilised to create three terraced sports fields. This project will focus on the creation of the first field which will be used for soccer.

This is a big project and we need assistance with;
* How to measure out the terraces
* How to level and slope the terraces for drainage
* Earth moving to level the terraces
* Top soil for the first terrace
* Irrigation solution for the first terrace
* Grass plugs or grass seeds
* Help with prep and planting - perhaps a Family Fun Day on a Saturday with our families helping and a braai
* New soccer posts

We need your help in the form of expertise in earth moving, land surveyors, landscaping and donations or sponsorship for earth moving equipment hire, irrigation, topsoil, grass and soccer posts.

If we pull together as a community we can have our first field ready for next year.
