At Kidz Inc., every week brings a new theme to explore — and we love when some of that curiosity makes its way home too. ❤️

Parents are encouraged to chat to their children about the weekly theme and, where possible, help them find something special to bring along for the theme table in their classroom. ✨

It could be a picture, an object from home, something found outside or anything else connected to what they’re discovering that week.

It gives children something of their own to share with the class and often leads to some wonderful conversations along the way. 💛

📚 A storybook may look simple… but there is a LOT happening between those pages. ✨

Listening to stories gives young children opportunities to hear new words, follow a sequence of events, practise concentration, predict what might happen next and use their imaginations.

Then come the questions, giggles, favourite characters and the inevitable request: “Again!” ❤️

At Kidz Inc., these everyday learning moments help create strong foundations while keeping learning warm, engaging and enjoyable. Sometimes a big lesson really does begin with “Once upon a time…” 🌈

💻✨ Technology is part of their world — so learning how to use it purposefully matters too.

This week’s theme at Kidz Inc. is Technology, giving our children opportunities to explore how different tools work and the role technology plays in everyday life.

For our older learners, computer lessons form part of the programme for the Fish and Lion Classes, helping introduce important skills in an age-appropriate learning environment. The goal at this age isn’t simply more screen time — it’s encouraging curiosity, listening, following instructions, problem-solving and confidence with new tools. 🌟

🏅 Ready, set… GO! It’s Olympic Games week at Kidz Inc. and our little champions are getting into the spirit! ❤️

While winning a race might be exciting, there are even bigger lessons hidden in activities like these — taking turns, following instructions, encouraging our friends, persevering when something feels tricky and being proud of giving it a try. 💪

✨ Because sometimes the biggest victory is simply saying, “I tried!” 🌟

🏆 Our Gladiator Course Fundraising Champions! 🏆

Some celebrations are worth waiting for! ❤️

Earlier this year, our Kidz Inc. children took part in our Gladiator Course Fundraiser, and we were finally able to give our fantastic fundraisers the celebration they deserved. 🎉

A very big congratulations to our top three fundraisers from across the whole school:

🥇 1st Place – Jedidiah
🥈 2nd Place – Leia
🥉 3rd Place – Aaliyah

Each of our winners received a special medal and goodie bag to celebrate their wonderful achievement. 🌟 We are so proud of the enthusiasm and effort they put into supporting our fundraiser!

And there was another exciting celebration in store… 🏆

The Duck Class raised the most money overall and earned themselves a very special trip to Spur to celebrate together! 🦆🍔🎉 They were also presented with our floating fundraising trophy, which they’ll proudly hold onto until our next fundraising champions are crowned.

A huge thank you to all our Kidz Inc. families who supported the fundraiser and helped make it such a success. Your involvement and encouragement mean so much to our school community. ❤️

Well done to all our little Gladiators — and an extra special congratulations to our winners! 👏✨

💬 “How was school?” “Fine.” 😄 Sound familiar?

Young children don’t always know how to summarise an entire school day, so changing the question can open the door to some wonderful conversations. ❤️

Try asking: ✨ What made you laugh today? ✨ What was your favourite thing you played with? ✨ Did you learn something new? ✨ Who did you sit or play with? ✨ What was the funniest thing that happened? ✨ What would you like to do again tomorrow?

Specific questions help children recall events, organise their thoughts, practise language and share their experiences without making the conversation feel like an interrogation. And you may be surprised by the stories that follow! 💛

Behind every little smile, new discovery, brave moment and growing confidence is a special woman who has encouraged, comforted, guided and believed in them. ❤️

Today, we celebrate our incredible teachers, assistants and wonderful women who make Kidz Inc. the warm, nurturing place that it is. Thank you for the patience you show, the hugs you give, the lessons you teach and the countless little things you do each day that often mean more than you realise. 🌸✨

The work you do goes far beyond the classroom. You help shape little hearts, build confidence, encourage kindness and create memories our children will carry with them for years to come.

We are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you. 💐

✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

We’re looking back on a very special Nelson Mandela Day at Kidz Inc. ❤️

Our little bakers rolled up their sleeves and made delicious Rice Krispie treats to share with people in need on their way home. Of course, a few extra treats were carefully made for teachers, parents and friends too! 😋

Beyond all the mixing, measuring and tasting, this activity gave our children a meaningful opportunity to learn about generosity, compassion and the importance of helping others.

Small hands can make a big difference, and even the simplest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. 🌈

🌟 What an incredible celebration of creativity, confidence and entrepreneurial spirit!

Our Grade R learners proudly showcased their ideas while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, communication, planning and responsibility. Experiences like Entrepreneurs Day encourage children to think creatively, solve problems and build confidence in their own abilities.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our young entrepreneurs. Well done, Grade R! 👏
