Our little scientists explored how celery “drinks” water and moves it all the way up its stalk, even against gravity. By placing celery in coloured water, children could see how water travels through tiny tube‑like structures called xylem, made of cellulose.

As the colour slowly climbed the stalk, the children watched real plant biology come to life — a simple, hands‑on way to understand how plants absorb water and stay strong. 🪷
