Mother Touch Academy Mother Touch Academy Mother Touch Academy was founded by Petra Lester Lombard, (owner of Moms and Tots and Jungle Tots) in 2009.

She saw an urgent need to provide pre-school and educational services to children in the impoverished Diepsloot community. Mother Touch Academy officially opened its doors as an NPO on 3 August 2009 with 30 children. We were met with an overwhelming response from the Diepsloot community and have grown to over 100 pupils today. Each year we reach our maximum capacity and have to place children on o

ur waiting list. Many parents receive grants that barely cover their living expenses and schooling is an expense that seems out of reach. Our goal is to provide pre-school education opportunities to 150 children in Diepsloot and beyond and to develop them mentally, physically, socially and emotionally. Emphasis is placed on a positive, safe and caring environment that encourages children to reach their full potential!
