Despite the cold weather that greeted us on Tuesday, our dedicated Reading Moms showed incredible commitment and love for our little ones.

In April our Grade 7 learners embarked on a one-week Leadership Camp organized by PLAY, a Christian youth organization.

They were challenged, inspired, and equipped with valuable leadership skills, character-building lessons, and unforgettable experiences.

Today, we proudly celebrate their achievement as they received their Leadership Camp certificates, a testament to their commitment, growth, and participation in this meaningful journey.

Kingsway Christian School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the management team and dedicated youth workers of PLAY for investing their time, energy, and passion into shaping the lives of our learners. We are thankful that all arrangements and costs were fully covered, making this enriching opportunity possible for our students.

From buses and trains to airplanes and ships, our KingsWay Christian School Grade R learners had an exciting journey learning about different modes of transport!

The adventure didn’t stop in the classroom. With creativity in full gear, they became young engineers, transforming empty milk boxes and plastic bottle caps into amazing toy cars. Learning was fun, hands-on, and full of imagination!

We have a feeling a few of our teachers might have quietly added an extra "Amen!" to that specific part about needing wisdom, patience, and strength today! Let’s be honest, with a prayer this beautiful and sincere, even the playground rules are bound to be perfectly followed today. Huge shoutout to P. Modiba for setting the absolute perfect tone for our morning, we couldn't have said it better ourselves!

On Friday KingsWay Christian School Grade 7S learners took a thrilling trip to the SAA Museum Society at Rand Airport. For many, it was their very first time stepping inside a real aircraft!

From exploring the massive cabins to learning fascinating facts about how these giant birds actually fly, our students got a true behind-the-scenes look at the world of aviation.

The pure wonder and excitement on their faces said it all. Who knows, we might just have some future pilots and cabin crew in our midst!

Our students took us on a beautiful trip down memory lane with the Kwela Kwela and gumboot dance, leaving everyone impressed. Watching them move with such confidence, energy and joy felt like reliving moments many of us once knew so well. And honestly… they might even be better at it than we were!

These memories we create, the laughter we share, and the connections that stay with us long after the music stops makes KingsWay Christian School special.
