Tribute designs to one's Loved one

Romance & Love was my inspiration for this beautiful wedding....Combination of pinks, creams and white was used to achieve this look. One of the most spectacular weddings I have ever designed for...From the Flower Wall to the Main table, every piece I designed was designed with so much enjoyment and passion......

A natural and look and feel was achieved for this wedding. Allot of foliage's were used for designs, with combination of tropical flowers. 550 guests were delighted and as sunset came, partied the night away....

On the 27th October 2012, 10 months in the making, I had the honour to be part of one of the year’s most stylish weddings. As I was the Wedding Planners I pretty much had the responsibility to be involved with the entire arranging, designing etc. for this wedding. Words cannot describe how everything just fell into place on this beautiful day. It’s one thing to plan a wedding, but when you start doing it, it all comes alive. The brides’ colours were purple, pink, silver and cream. Her feel for the day she wanted a stylish, elegant and a vintage feel. I used antique silver vases, beautiful Chrystal lampshades to mention a few elements. The guests were treated to an event that Ifeel captured all the couple’s wishes and beyond. From the dramatic church, to the guests cocktail party and the mind blowing function room, this was truly a beautiful event full of personal touches, such as a wooden window frame table seating plan, cocktails for guests, silver satin damask linen, tiffany chairs and so much more. Special thanks go out to Isiphiwo Venue, Maria you are a star and all the suppliers that added there magic touches to this event. To Reston & Albert, thanks for your help. To Marie-Alet & George, you will remain in my hearts forever!

This event lies very close to my heart, and for a moment I thought I was back in the UK…Sometimes you do an event and it reminds you why you do it. This wedding will be one of the most memorable weddings on my journey, in creating and designing and making a lasting memory for years to come. It was such a delight to be part of this event as both the bride and groom with their blessing, allowed me to do what I do best! The bride was very specific in her choice colors for her wedding day. Rose Gold with pinks and natural greenery. For the flowers, I used the beautiful Venus Protea, combined with cerise & light pink Roses, Safari and Penny Cum and the Desert Rock Rose Succulent to come up with these beautiful full wreath floral designs. To compliment this whole look, I used dry trees which I sprayed rose gold, dusky romantic damask table linen, champagne napkins, and rose gold under plates, solid 3 color t-light with candles and then those beautiful hanging glass candle balls. The one thing that made this event as always is my Main Table. I always like to make a statement and as you will see, it just came out so stylish and elegant. As per my tradition I like to show my couple there banquet room, before the guests see it, and to experience there reaction is priceless!! I would like to thank the following people. To Zani Bormann & Reinald Bormann, what an inspiration you are. Thank you for allowing me to do my thing and may God bless you on your wonderful journey. To Nadia von Schaeffer, thank you for helping out and always working so hard. Lastly to Janine Meyburgh, whom without I would never have been able to pull this of! Here is to creating another memory!!!

My client celebrated her 50th Birthday with a stylishly, funny theme party. The brief was straight froward, and instruction was given to me to come u with designs that captures the fun element but still keeping it simple. So many elements were uses, from frames to clocks, steamers to glitter, cards to trees and so many more. Some of the main attraction pieces were the Floral Topiary Trees, the Edible Topiary Trees. The designer cake from Marle Grobler Designer Cakes and catering from Alex Christodoulou CFC Creative Foods, made this truly a event to remember. I big thank you goes out to my team Janine Meyburgh and Nadia von Schaeffer whom without this would not have been possible. Thank you to my client Amelia Van Der Merwe, for trusting me and making me remember what it is all about. Here's to creating memories, distinctively my why!
