Our Grade 1 ABC’s with the ACE and Christi Learning-to-Read Program is a comprehensive curriculum designed to teach essential phonetic reading skills. It encompasses thorough instructional manuals, visual aids, and various teaching materials. The primary subjects for the initial 12 weeks of the Grade 1 Learning-to-Read program include Word Building, Bible Reading, Animal Science, and Mathematics. Following this period, students will advance to English, Science, Social Studies, and continue their Mathematics journey.

Remember to breathe, deep breaths, this helps regulate stress and anxiety. It also gives your brain a chance to catch up before making any hasty decisions.

Have 15 min a day at least where you do some exercise, sport, or even stretching, to engage your muscles and give them oxygen. 💪

This week's study tip: Drink Water
Your brain needs 125ml (half a glass) of water every hour to function effectively and be hydrated. Give your brain what it needs to run effectively.

The workshop will end with a 2-hour full past paper under exam conditions, so that students know what to expect in terms of time management.

Congratulations to Andrews Academy senior soccer for winning the playoffs against Grantley College 6 - 2 in the B League, so they have now qualified for the A League⚽️ Thank you to the team and Joseph for all the hard work and effort, which paid off.

Congratulations to the senior girls' netball team, who also won the B League and never lost a single match. Thanks to Shamiso, Paulo, Comfort, and the team for all your efforts 🏆🎊🎉🏀

A reminder that our senior boys also won the volleyball 🏐 league last term for the 2nd year in a row, in which there is only one division. All our young sportsmen and sportswomen certainly deserve a warm round of applause ✨️🎉🎊🏆
