The Skate School Private Skateboarding Coaching We love everything about skating and our aim is to get more children, ๐™š๐™จ๐™ฅ๐™š๐™˜๐™ž๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™ฎ ๐™œ๐™ž๐™ง๐™ก๐™จ involved in these amazing sports. Shayne.

We offer both group & private lessons at our new 450sq meter indoor skatepark in Cresta Shopping Centre. This is also Johannesburg's only indoor skate park. Our skate park is also open to the public for sessions when we are not teaching. About the Coach:
My name is Shayne Robinson and I have been skating for over 30 years, be that on a skateboard, rollerblades, roller skates or ice skates. I have

always been into alternative sports that have a little bit of an adrenaline rush attached to them. I have always been a little bit of a loaner and these sports were a perfect fit for someone who was a โ€œlittle differentโ€ ;)
In my younger years, I was a sponsored skateboarder, 5 times South Africa Aggressive Rollerblade champion and I represented South Africa at the Inline Hockey World Championships in Chicago. I have a passion for skating and a passion for teaching, so this seemed like the next logical step for me. The aim of The Skate School is to get more children, especially girls into skating, be that on a skateboard, roller skates or rollerblades. However, I am also really keen to teach adults as well, so if you want to learn then this is the place for you. I look forward to sharing my love of skating with all of you.

Whether you're taking your very first pushes or sharpening your lines on our Skate Track system, we've got two dedicated afternoon slots ready to roll:

FROM SEVENTH TO FIRST: ONE BRAVE FINAL ATTEMPT CHANGED EVERYTHING ๐Ÿ›น๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Young South African skateboarder Ntokozo โ€œNTโ€ Dludla produced a remarkable comeback at the Kimberley Diamond Cup Johannesburg qualifier, winning the Open Womenโ€™s division after sitting in seventh place before her final attempt.

She had been trying to land a difficult trick throughout the competition and had already fallen three times. With only one attempt left, Ntokozo could have played it safe. Instead, she chose to try the trick one more time.

This time, she landed it.

The score lifted her from seventh place to the top of the standings, putting her two points ahead of the more experienced adult competitors. She also won the Best Trick award. ๐Ÿ†

Three failed attempts did not convince Ntokozo to give up. They only meant she had not landed the trick yet.

Her performance is a wonderful reminder of the courage, belief and determination that young athletes can show when the pressure is at its highest.

Congratulations, Ntokozo. From seventh to first with one attempt left. What a finish. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
