Let's start with one of the fundamentals: muzzle awareness.

Simply put, muzzle awareness means maintaining conscious control of the direction in which a fi***rm's muzzle is pointing.

It's not something that only matters when you're about to fire. Safe handling habits should be maintained whenever a fi***rm is being handled.

Why?

Because good fi***rm safety isn't something you switch on when you need it. It should become habit.

Training helps build that awareness through correct instruction and repetition, until thinking safely becomes part of how you handle a fi***rm.

The fundamental principle:
Always keep the fi***rm pointed in a safe direction.

Being familiar with something doesn't automatically mean you've been trained to do it correctly.

You may have grown up around fi***rms. You may have been shooting for years. You may feel completely comfortable handling one.

But experience can reinforce good habits and bad ones.

Professional training gives you the opportunity to check what you know, correct what you don't, and understand the responsibilities that come with fi***rm ownership.

There is no embarrassment in learning something you thought you already knew.
