We hosted our inaugural Nashua Green Elly Rugby Festival today at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, marking a special moment for GHS as we made history as the first girls’ school in the country to host an event of this kind.

A huge thank you to all the participating teams for joining us and bringing such great energy to the festival. We are also grateful to our sponsors and partners, Nashua, aQuelle, Stylos Tortilla, Rhinos Rugby and the University of KwaZulu-Natal, for helping bring this vision to life.

To our GHS staff members who worked behind the scenes, from the planning to the final whistle, thank you for making it happen.

Today was about more than rugby. It was about creating opportunities for girls, building something new and taking the first step towards a tradition we hope will continue for years to come.
