Travelling on this mountainous road which is only shortcut from Lilongwe to Mangochi, quite heft despite good road on the mountains but bad when down. It connect Dedza to Balaka. I've travelled on it 4x.
Into November if funds are available I may reach the north of Malawi to Mzuzu and areas under it.

Mangochi town main street which leads to the Mukuzi Bridge over the Sheri River meeting Lake Malombe. A brisk commercial town before the north Mozambique 🇲🇿 border at Chipotle. Its a place people are well of because of business activities and the Municipality is active and rich. High tourism enclave with Monkeybay under this Municipality.

We suspended some of our activities after our symposium in June to help us not to navigate outside our core mandate, researching and publishing. We're in reflection mode now and will wake up to run.

Now my remaining task is to be taken to 4 more shrines in Malawi September to October to gather facts for shaping my proposal already done. I did the proposal whilst in SA in 2025 based on literature and now I must justify everything as authentic. This study will go far to show possibly unknown progress made by the traditional adherents to survive and grow within the dominant environment of Abrahamic Faiths and youth generation who don't take those ones seriously. In fact biases and anomaly in existing demographic data pertaining to traditional adherents in Malawi shall be queried. One significant factor is Malawi is centrally located between Tanzania 🇹🇿, Mozambique 🇲🇿, and Zambia 🇿🇲. However without sharing border with Zimbabwe yet Chichewa language is rife in Zim and Malawi has Nguni people plus several other local tongues.
I'm learning Chichewa seriously because without that it'll be difficult for me.
Ndiku phunzira Chichewa pano and AI is assisting me very well than human teacher can do. Just imagine, waw 😳 😍 😅.

This is a major research undertaking and preparation must be well done as our first task which is our core activity as ACIPS - research and publications, the reason we exist to avoid repeating what others are doing as decolonisation exercises and programmes. Ours is 100% research.

So far I've two Malawian men wanting to be involved and one SA women has expressed her interest in joining this research.
This will help reducing the load on me alone though I'm usef to doing more than one research studies at a time, I can use this study to help those joining learn more about Afrocentric research from me, thus, grooming better young researchers for Afrikan spirituality and traditions studies.

At Mangochi in Malawi 🇲🇼 looking for a home to locate me centrally between Lilongwe, Blantyre and Namwera-Ngalande areas, but after a week without success due to high cost I've returned to Lilongwe to operate from there. Taking some low cost meal at a food vendor and familiarising with life at the ordinary level and I bet you Mangochi is a town I love with decency and respect for people especially being new. Everyone want help here and there. Mangochi is neat and well organised town as district capital. I lodged by Lake Malombe and certainly good ground for rituals.
I also ventured into Mozambique territory and reached Mandimba town. That enabled me to access security situation in that place and evidence of peace is strong. I was allowed to enter without passport stamped. The matter is when can we in Afrika become like EU moving freely?

A group of traditional adherents at Ngalande, Malawi 🇲🇼 witn the Chief on my right side and other elders who are custodians of Afrikan spirituality and traditions in the area. My visit was facilitated by LHF who are guiding me on gathering facts for pending study of the minority traditional adherents in Malawi. They have insisted I live with them and possible farming project will be started there which is close to Mozambique border.
