U17 Stayers Cricket Festival | A strong week of cricket for College at the Michaelhouse U17 Cricket Festival, from 29 September – 3 October.

The boys produced some excellent individual performances, including Johnson’s superb 117 against Kempton Park, supported by Thomas’ 33, as College posted 260/9 to secure a 62-run victory.

Wilson was outstanding with the ball, taking 3/30 against St Benedict’s and following up with 3/40 against Kempton Park. Bhatt also made valuable contributions, scoring 47 against St Albans and 30 against Catch Trust Academy.

College finished the festival with two wins, including a six-wicket victory over St Albans. A valuable week of cricket, growth and plenty of milestones for our U17s. 🔴⚫⚪

The values of College extend far beyond the classroom & sports field. Our 1st XV players, L Mabanga and D. du Toit, proudly handed over rugby equipment to the local community — continuing a meaningful initiative that takes place every year.

From the College field to the community, the game becomes a vehicle for opportunity, connection and inspiration. Every ball, jersey and piece of equipment carries with it the chance to inspire a young player, grow a love for the game and build a brighter future.

A proud College tradition. A powerful example of giving back, building others up and growing the game we love. Red. Black. White. Giving back. Building forward. 🔴⚫⚪
