Today we celebrate the beautiful diversity that makes South Africa home ❤️💙💚💛

At Maritzburg Christian School we are grateful for the different cultures, languages, traditions and stories that make up our school community. May we continue to celebrate our differences, honour our heritage, and stand together in unity.

GRANDPARENTS DAY 2026❤️

Last Friday, our Primary School was filled with so much love, laughter and special memories as we celebrated the incredible grandparents in our learners lives. 🥰

It was a beautiful morning of painting, smiles, hugs, stories and quality time together, reminding us just how special the bond between grandparents and grandchildren truly is.

To all our grandparents who joined us, thank you for being there, for your love, your wisdom and for the special role you play in our children’s lives. Your presence made the day extra special! 🌸

A huge thank you to our learners, staff and everyone who helped make the morning so memorable. We loved celebrating you! 💙

⚽🏆 INTERHOUSE SOCCER 2026 🏆⚽

What a fun day of football, school spirit and community! 🔥

Congratulations to our Hawks💙 for taking FIRST place, and to our Eagles💛 for claiming the Spirit Cup!🏆

A special highlight of the day was seeing our Staff take on the MCS 1st Team, and for the first time in four years, our 1st Team came out victorious! ⚽🔥 What a testament to the talent, dedication and hard work of our players, and to the incredible coaching that continues to develop them. Even though our coaches didn’t manage to take the win on the field, they can certainly take pride in the team they’ve built! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special. Our parents, learners, staff, coaches, supporters and everyone who came out to cheer on our teams 💙

And of course, thank you to all our vendors and grade 11 committee for keeping everyone fuelled and smiling, and to Sonar Music Sonar Music SA for bringing the incredible music, entertainment and prizes! 🎶🎁

It was a day filled with competition, school spirit and lots of memories. 💙🤍

Well played, MCS! ⚽🔥
