LAC Mother's Day celebration🩷 (SIP & PAINT was our theme for the day) 👩. Mothers were taken to the Mocktail table to create they're our Mocktail🍹 to sip on while they create some beautiful artwork with their little ones. With calming music🎼 and nice snacks to keep their mouths munching on. Each Mom was given a special rose to take home, an envelope with a card done by their babies and not forgetting a beautiful painting👩‍🎨 done by both mom and child👶.

As everyone celebrated the month of love😍 with roses🌹, chocolates🍫 and lovely gifts🎁. Our babies closed of the month of love with a day at the pool with a pizza and cooldrink. Love was spread as a school and with our friends💌.

Our 2025 year has started off with a bang...It hasn't been easy on our little ones that are in school for the first time but we are slowly getting there, and the fun has already begun for them🤩. We kicked off our first term with the Theme "all about me and my body''. Teaching them about themselves and getting to knowing their bodies a little more💓.

Yesterday was Boss's Day🥳...We as the Pre-Primary staff along with our learners said "Thank you and Happy Boss's Day" to our Principal - Mrs. A De Beer🩷. We love you lots.

Our theme this week is on the farm on the 5th of September our learners baked bread 🍞👩‍🍳from scratch just like the little red hen. Baking helps improve fine motor skills and strength and control kneading of the dough and shaping of the loaves and strengthens the hand muscles. Our learners enjoyed exploring with their senses (baking engages the senses of sight, touch and smell.

On the 2nd of August we had our Career Day.... ☺We let our learner's dress up as the occupation they would like to be when they grow up...We then had special visitors come and tell them about their jobs...A Police Officer, a Nurse, a Nutritionist, a Physio, a Dietician and a mommy who works at Forestry, a special visit from the Fire department and Mi7 too. We would love to say Thank You so much to all our wonderful visitors for making this day very special to our learners. 🙏

Due to us not celebrating Father's Day with our father's, we decided to make a special day for them this month and we called it "DAD'S DAY". We invited our dads to come play soccer with their children along with a braai and bonding time. On the 19th of July is when our event took place, it was such a beautiful day filled with so much fun and soccer fun. We kicked off our day with dads creating a trophy with their children, the trophy is an award to both dad and child as it was filled with sweets and chocolate. We then asked both dad and child to come play a game of soccer on our school fields, the match started off with dad's vs children. It then ended off with all dads playing a match together as their children cheer them on.

As we closed off our 2nd Term, we went on an excursion to Botanical Gardens with our whole school. The Primary and Pre-Primary enjoyed themselves extremely. ☺

24 May 2024. We had our first Science experiment day with our Pre-Primary learners👩‍🔬. The experiment was to burst the ballon with a lemon peels. The scientific Principle🍋🎈:
The lemon peels have an oil gland containing an organic solvent called limonene, which dissolves the rubber on the balloon surface so the ballon burst! FUTURE SCIENTISTS 🤩🩷

10th May 2024 we had our mothers come over for an early Mother's Day event, as Mother's Day was on Sunday 12th of May👑. We called it "THE ALL-WHITE PARTY"🥳. We had them create their own Chef hats👩‍🍳 with their children and after that we had a bake off. Each mother made a Microwave chocolate cake🍰. Thank you to our Pre-Primary mothers for joining us and making it a very special day to our learners💝. 's Day Celebration💕💞

On the 23rd of April was World Book Day....Our learners were asked to dress up as their favorite book characters in any story books they know or love the most😍. Having our teachers as fairies and our Pre-Primary principal as Goldilocks☺️ and loads of fun. 🤩🤩

On the 19th of April our learner's had an exciting MasterChef experience at our Pre-Primary. It was loads of fun and a great experience for our learner's. We made a microwave cake with them. We helped them measure their ingredients but let them do their own mixing. CHOCOLATE CAKE......
