I am Junior Mukaz. I would like to give you all my perspective on how I see MTC. Firstly, I feel honoured to come up here and share my point of view with y’all.
To me MTC is a game changer, it’s a school where teachers and students appreciate you as a person, whether you’re struggling academically or dealing with a situation at home there is always someone willing to help you and support you.

That is what makes MTC different, this is not just a place where we come to learn it’s a place where people actually look out for each other and want to see you succeed.

I want to appreciate a teacher who always brings good energy and makes the classroom feel welcoming. They are supportive, patient and always willing to help students when they need it. This teacher is Miss Davison.

This next teacher knows how to make her lesson interesting while still helping us improve. They are encouraging, hardworking and always pushes us to do better. That teacher is Miss Kambouris.

This next teacher has a way of making even a language that can be challenging feel a little easier to understand. He is patient, supportive and always encourages us to improve even when we make mistakes. That teacher is our Afrikaans teacher Mr van Niekerk.

And finally, this teacher, Miss Matten. Your experiments in biology are amazing and makes me enjoy my lesson.

But now we save the best for last. This person is truly at the heart of our school. She is someone who believed in us and gave us the opportunity. We would not be here today without her support and dedication. She gives us a place to learn, grow and make memories and become a better version of ourselves and for that we will always be grateful.
