15 KM ROUTE | ARE YOU READY TO CLIMB?
Get ready for an exciting 15 km challenge through the streets and forest surrounding Riverwood College!
📍 START: 07:00Riverwood College – Main Rugby Field
🗺️ THE ROUTE:
➡️ Exit Riverwood College onto Roberts Road
➡️ Continue up Roberts Road
➡️ Turn right into Villiers Drive
➡️ Turn right into Voortrekker Road
➡️ Continue up Voortrekker Road into the forest – where the tar road ends
➡️ Follow the dirt road through the forest up to Worlds View
➡️ Complete the loop in the forest at the top of Worlds View
➡️ Descend the dirt road back to Voortrekker Road
➡️ Turn left into Atwell Road
➡️ Turn right into Dan Pienaar Road
➡️ Turn left into Roberts Road
➡️ Turn left into Kitchener Road
➡️ Turn right into Taunton Road
➡️ Turn left into Roberts Road
➡️ At the bottom of Roberts Road, turn into Cordwalles Road
➡️ Enter Riverwood College and finish on the Main Rugby Field

Mr Immelman challenged our staff to think outside the box with the “My Colleagues & I” competition, and boy, did we have fun! 😄
There was creativity, laughter, teamwork… and perhaps a little healthy competition!
Today, our winning teams got to celebrate in the best way possible - with fresh, delicious pizzas from our amazing sponsors, Debonairs Pizza (Official) Debonairs Pizza! 🍕❤️

A very special CONGRATULATIONS to our Grade 7 learner, Nkazimulo Masilela, on his selection for the KZNRU Youth U13 team!
Even more impressive, Nkazimulo is one of only two players selected from the Midlands, what an incredible achievement! 🏉
We are incredibly proud to see one of our RC learners taking his talent beyond the school gates and representing both Riverwood College and KwaZulu-Natal at provincial level.
Nkazimulo, we know you’ll wear that jersey with pride. Go well, enjoy every moment and give it your all at the National Inter-Provincial Tournament in September!

Six of our Riverwood College learners have been selected to represent the Inland Midlands Soccer Teams across four age groups:
⚽ Yolo Marwexu – U19
⚽ Oluhle Maphanga – U16
⚽ Michelle Maringa – U15
⚽ Ngiphile Mdletshe – U15
⚽ Nonzuzo Dlamini – U15
⚽ Aviwe Kobese – U14
And there’s more…Our very own Mr Given Tshabalala has been appointed Head Coach of the U15 team!
Six players. Four age groups. One coach. And a whole lot of Riverwood on that team sheet. We’ll be watching, cheering and backing you all the way.
