An afternoon of Gospel, Music and Community connection!

The Scottsville Primary School Choir proudly joined choirs from across the region at the Maritzburg College Annual Gospel Choir Evening on Saturday. Our young singers took the stage, sharing their angelic voices and joining other school choirs in celebration of music, faith and togetherness.

A special thank you to our Choirmaster, Miss Matunga and our Music teacher Mrs Taylor for their dedication in nurturing our young stars. We are also grateful to Maritzburg College for hosting such a beautiful and memorable event.

Our 1st Team soccer girls proudly represented the Scottsville Primary at the Soccer Festival hosted by Epworth School this weekend.⚽️⚽️

A day of good football and teamwork. Well done Scott Girls! We are proud of you!

Friday was filled with energy and school spirit as we proudly hosted an Annual Cross Country event at our school!🤽🏆🏆🏃‍♀️🏃

Our grounds came alive with enthusiastic runners giving it their all, cheering supporters and an incredible display of sportsmanship. From the starting line to the finish, our young athletes showed us what it means to run with courage, perseverance and heart!✨✨

Every stride tells a story and every finish is an achievement.💙💛

Step into the world of Pharaohs, pyramids and ancient wonders!

Our Grade 5 learners travelled back in time for a spectacular Egypt Evening, bringing Ancient Egypt to life through fascinating costumes, creative displays, cultural experience and plenty of excitement.

A huge well done to our Grade 5 teachers for organizing such a fun educational event and a special thanks to our parents who attended making the evening extra magical.

PMB Central Circuit Readers Cup 2026.

Our learners participated in the PMB Central Circuit Readers Cup 2026, an enriching initiative celebrating the joy of reading, literacy, creativity and the development of confident young readers.

We are proud to announce that our Grade R, Grade 3 and Grade 7 learners have been selected to represent the PMB Circuit at the next stage of the event!

We were also honoured by the presence of Circuit Manager, Mrs Dlamini, whose support and encouragement made the event even more special. Thank you to our teachers for nurturing a love of reading with such enthusiasm!

Community Heroes Visit Our School!

The juniors had an exciting and educational visit from some of the incredible teams who work tirelessly to keep our community safe!

We welcomed representatives from Kwazulu Private ambulance, Secure, Fidelity SecureFire - Warrant Officer Van Jaarsveld and Search and Rescue.

The learners had an opportunity to learn more about the important work these teams do, the services they provide and how they help and protect our community every day.

A big thank you to all our heroes for visiting us and showcasing the amazing work you do!

Our hearts are overflowing with pride as we congratulate Ayanelisa Gwala on being crowned the 3rd category winner of the ARTopia Art Competition 2026 at Liberty Midlands Mall !!

Not only has Ayanelisa showcased her beautiful talent, but she has won R15 000.00 for our school! To every parent, learner, staff member, and community member who took the time to vote, we thank you.

A special appreciation goes to Mrs Maistry, our Creative Arts teacher and coordinator, your support really made all the difference.
