Congratulations to our Latest Biosecurity Delegates!
Last week, from 06–08 July, we had the pleasure of hosting 24 delegates who successfully completed our 3-Day Biosecurity training program.
A sincere thank you to the South African Poultry Association (SAPA) for initiating this important training, and to AgriSETA for funding the programme.
The course focused on practical, on-farm biosecurity implementation, including:
🐔 Poultry farm hygiene systems
🐔 Disease prevention and control
🐔 Risk identification in production environments
🐔 Biosecurity protocols for operational farms
Biosecurity remains one of the most important factors in ensuring poultry productivity, protecting animal health, and supporting the long-term sustainability of the industry.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr Edwin Nzimande of Avipharm for taking the time to address our delegates and for his valuable assistance during the boot-cleaning practical session.
Congratulations once again to all our delegates. We wish you every success as you apply your new knowledge and skills on your farm. Do keep in touch, we always enjoy hearing from past delegates.

Commercial Layer Production Course
This course focuses exclusively on table egg production and covers the essential knowledge and management practices required for successful commercial layer farming.

Subsidies are available for existing layer farmers below the age of 50.
