I'd really like to organise a wee, self indulgent, "Farewell Show & Book Reading Launch" for my new book (hopefully to boost book sales, and give you all a nice intimate acoustic "songs from my heart that mean something to me" afternoon), where you can chill, have a lukka arvie with mates, and just mebbe grab your copy of my new book. I'm leaving the 'Burra at the end of January 2025 (next year). I'd like a show of hands in regard to who would be interested In attending? Cover charge of R50 per person. Allow me to introduce our piano teacher.
Mrs. Shirley Cronje, whom I have coaxed out of her short retirement to join us and bring her piano teaching skills to our school.
Shirley qualified at Grade 7 on piano and grade 6 on music theory, at The Royal School of Music.
She previously taught at Woodlands High School, as well as several home based students.
Shirley is very passionate about playing the piano.
