You are not only shaping young minds academically, but also guiding our learners on the path of righteousness and helping them grow into the people God has called them to be.
✝️✨📚
Gateway is truly blessed to have each and every one of you. Thank you for your dedication, patience, love and the difference you make every single day.❤️☺️

🛍️ Grade 7 Market Day! 💼✨

Term 3 brings our much anticipated Market Day, where our Grade 7 learners become entrepreneurs for the day!😌✨

This year, their confidence was truly commendable. They handled the pressure of planning, setting up their businesses and engaging with eager customers with such enthusiasm. 👏🏼
Growth looks different in every learner and we must take the time to recognise, encourage and celebrate every step forward. After all we are all human and a work in progress.☺️🌈

Well done, Grade 7! Your entrepreneurial spirit was shining! 🌟☺️

Last week’s assembly..

Sometimes, it’s best to hear the original sound for yourself in this case, the “proof is in the pudding!” 😄

At Gateway Christian School, we strive for growth in every area of our learners’ lives academically, in sportsmanship, musical abilities, character, confidence and so much more. 🌱✨

But above everything we do, there is one ultimate foundation:
✝️ 💜Jesus

We asked a few of our learners what they thought were the negative aspects of Gateway, things they think we should change. They spend so much of time at school, so we want them to be happy.
Here’s what they had to say…

⚠️ 1. Teachers mark our books.
There’s absolutely no escaping.

⚠️ 2. Teachers know us by name.
So when it’s time to answer a question… hiding is NOT an option!

⚠️ 3. We get individual attention.
You can’t disappear into the crowd when your teacher actually knows you!

⚠️ 4. You can’t skip your lunch.
If you don’t eat what your mum packed, someone will notice and make sure you eat.

⚠️ 5. You can’t even be unusually quiet without someone noticing!
If you’re normally chatty and suddenly go quiet, your teacher will ask your parent if everything is okay.

So you heard it.. you let us know if you want to hear more.🫢

THE SOUND OF MUSIC 🎵

Music lessons, conducted by our outsourced music instructors, take place right here at the school during school hours. 🎶

Our learners are developing valuable skills as they learn to play independently, read music and write music. 🎼✨☺️

One skill at a time, we are helping our learners discover their potential — because with the right skills and opportunities, the world can truly be their oyster. 🌍✝️✊

🗳️ A reminder to vote for us in the Best of the Midlands!

🏫 Best Private Primary School – Gateway Christian School
👗 Best Fashion Design School – Gateway School of Fashion
💻 Best Computer Training Course – Project Gateway ICDL
Your support means so much to us! ❤️

🖤💜 Today, we stand together, where our black attire symbolises awareness, solidarity and mourning across South Africa. 🖤🕊️

Gateway Christian School, a project of Project Gateway, stands together in prayer and faith. In times like these, we look to God for strength, guidance and hope. ✝️🍃🕊️💜🖤

Operation Buyel’ekhaya was launched weeks ago by the leaders of Project Gateway, working to build strong men of God who will be present fathers and husbands. The goal is a healthier and stronger city. ✝️✊🩵

If you want to be part of this operation, need a safe place, someone to talk to, or simply a word of prayer, our staff are here to support you with love and understanding. ❤️✨

Let us stand together. Let us pray together. Let us believe for better communities and a better South Africa. 🙏🏾🇿🇦
