I have to admit this one is hard for me… finding the time to live in the moment. 😖 Who else is go go go all the time? 🏃‍♀️ Or are you able to slow down? 🧘‍♀️ Pre-kids, you’d bet I’d be all about that reading, and journal writing, and sipping that coffee while it was still hot! 😅 But kids and their constant needs, the piles of things always needing organizing and cleaning, and the schedules with their never ending cycle changed all that. Nope. I haven’t been good about slowing down at all. Which is why I needed to see this quote. It’s such a good reminder of why it isn’t just important for my own mental health, but how important me modeling the slow-down-behavior is for my children’s future. 👌 Sure, I want them to be go-getters and motivated about all the things, but I also want them to enjoy the moment, to be present, to savor the now. Because it is gone way too fast. ⏳
