Last week the UBI Choir inspired passers-by with an outreach concert at the bandstand in the Church Street Mall. The programme included songs, choruses, testimonies and an evangelistic appeal led by members of the choir. They also distributed tracts and information about UBI. Many thanks to those who came to support us in prayer. Continue to pray that God will cause the seeds that were planted to grow into lasting faith in Christ.

On this Youth Day, we offer a collection of songs that the UBI choir sang during last term's missions conference to inspire and challenge the attendees. May they inspire this generation of young people to follow Jesus to the ends of the earth for the sake of his kingdom and those who have never heard the good news. https://youtu.be/ptGRWa4GvOM

As part of the Missions 2 module, UBI students participated in a contextual worship service for Muslim Background Believers. This activity was part of the Kairos training course which prepares individuals to become Christians who share God's heart for the least-reached people on earth and trains them to help their churches become "Great Commission Churches" that have the Great Commission at the heart of all their ministries.

UBI received a warm welcome from the Holiness Union Church Sweetwaters circuit this past Sunday. The UBI choir presented several items, two students gave testimonies, and UBI lecturer Bongi Dumisa spoke from Acts 1:8, encouraging everyone to share the gospel with people in their circles of influence. We are grateful for our long relationship with this family of believers.

Last Saturday, Ashby and Pearl Kurian of Child Evangelism Fellowship led a workshop at UBI for training children's ministry workers. In addition to gaining a thorough understanding of the gospel and how to present it to children, the Kurians also taught participants how to disciple children to grow in their knowledge of God's word and to share their faith with others. Seasoned teachers, alumni and first-timers alike were blessed by the Kurians passion for the souls of children and their excellent, inspiring presentation.
