Roomys wat smelt, taai handjies, vrolike gesiggies en ’n hart vol geluk. 💛

By Botterblommetjies glo ons dat daar tussen al die leer en groei ook altyd tyd moet wees om nét kind te wees, om te lag, te speel, te ontdek en die klein dingetjies met ’n groot glimlag te geniet.

This morning there was a very special visitor parked in front of our school… and we are so excited to finally introduce our NEW ADDITION to the Botterblommetjies family!

Say hello to our beautiful Kia truck!

This little “worker bee” will be helping us keep our farm and school looking beautiful by assisting with all our maintenance needs. From little jobs to big adventures, we are excited for the journey ahead!

A huge thank you to everyone who followed along and guessed what our surprise was… we hope you love it as much as we do!

Vandag vier ons met trots ons pragtige Suid-Afrikaanse erfenis, ons kulture, ons tale, ons tradisies en die stories wat ons almal verbind.

Ons klein hartjies vier vandag met groot glimlagte, vreugde en trots. Van ons klein babatjies tot ons groeiende ontdekkers.

Mag ons kinders altyd onthou dat ons erfenis ons wortels is, ons kultuur ons trots is en dat ons saam sterker groei.

Elke kind is ’n klein mensie met hul eie gedagtes, gevoelens, bekommernisse, hoop en drome.

As volwassenes en onderwysers is dit ons verantwoordelikheid om ruimte te skep vir hulle stemme en werklik na hulle te luister.

Soms vertel kinders vir ons wat hulle nodig het deur woorde.
Soms deur spel.
Soms deur hulle tekeninge, hulle gedrag, hulle stilte, of eenvoudig deur net langs ons te sit.

Ons moet net luister.

Want wanneer ’n kind gehoor voel, voel hulle veiliger.
Wanneer hulle gerespekteer voel, voel hulle waardevol.
En wanneer hulle waardevol voel, begin hulle glo dat hulle stem saak maak.

Maak nie saak hoe oud hulle is nie.
Maak nie saak hoe hulle kommunikeer nie.
Maak nie saak waardeur hulle gaan nie.

Elke kind verdien om te weet:

“Ek sien jou.
Ek hoor jou.
Jy maak saak.” 🌈💕

😎☀️ PLAYBALL KIDS ARE JUST TOO COOL! ☀️😎

And just like that… Term 3 is DONE!

What an amazing term of running, jumping, throwing, catching, kicking, learning new skills and, most importantly, HAVING FUN! ⚽️🏀🎾🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️

We wanted to end the term by reminding our Playball superstars just how COOL they are, so each child received their very own Playball sunglasses! 😎🕶️

Because our little champions deserve to celebrate all the effort, confidence and smiles they’ve brought to every session.

Here’s to a term filled with SPORT, FRIENDSHIP, FUN and LOTS OF MEMORIES! Playball Oostenberg
