As we honor the bravery and sacrifices made by LGBTQ+ individuals in service to our country, we also recognize the unique challenges and needs that they face upon returning home.
That's why we're proud to offer this informative event, where attendees will have access to a wealth of benefits, resources, and information on the PACT Act. During the roundtable, our expert panel of speakers will explore the ways in which the VA and the Center for Minority Veterans can support LGBTQ Veterans and their families and caregivers. From healthcare and education to employment and housing, we'll cover a range of topics available to help LGBTQ+ Veterans thrive in civilian life.
And, we want to hear from you. We encourage attendees to share their own experiences and insights during our interactive Q&A session. It's a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, forge new relationships, and build a strong sense of community and support.

Federal appeals court says Americans with Disabilities Act protections cover 'gender dysphoria,' handing a win to trans people A federal appeals court said Tuesday that the Americans with Disabilities Act covers individuals with "gender dysphoria," handing a win to trans people in a case concerning a former inmate who alleged discrimination at a Virginia prison.

Sharing this post from my other social media account, it captures my sentiment from todays SCOTUS Ruling. Sadly, this is the beginning of our rights in America being taken away.

The stat that 1 in 4 women will have an abortion over the course of her life is not true.
It’s much higher than that.
Because I had an abortion when I was 20, I was able to finish college, to pursue my dreams, to succeed in my career, to become a mother when I was ready.
Almost every single woman I know and love has had an abortion…
…because she became pregnant when she didn’t want to be
…because she was r***d and became pregnant
…because she miscarried and needed medical intervention
…because she had an ectopic pregnancy
…because her own life was in danger
The list goes on.
Today, the Supreme Court has ruled on Dobbs v. Jackson and stripped women and people seeking abortions of their long-held rights to control their bodies.
2022 is now a less safe place for women than 1982 when I was born or 1973 when Roe v Wade was decided, a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects women’s liberty to choose to have an abortion.
