In case you think all my art is IG worthy - these 4 were an experiment/creative curiosity that did not dry as planned. I was mixing ink, paint and putting medium for what I thought would be a smooth surface to the add graphic elements and quotes in a new way. Nope, weirdly uneven surface, colours did not complement and kind of tacky even when dry?? The fun of art is the learning process, new tools, mediums and trying things. For this I bought 6 for $12 canvases so not a huge loss and I will try two more experiments and compare before I consider these garbage or a complete fail. Take risks, try new things, test new tools, don’t give up because your first try is ugly. 💚💚💚

Couple of new pieces I am working on. Took a trip to the art store and decided to try ink, stain, paint pens and three new tools. Came home and 6 hours later….
The graphic work is inspired and is the written work of author and it was a piece that I couldn’t get out of my head. And I also added some of and Jen’s co-writing in the top left and right corners. I am kind of in love with this one right now.

These gorgeous moccasins from the Uber talented arrived today for the Indigenous Teen in Foster Care that our neighbours, friends and family sponsored for Christmas. The teen asked for a pair of moccasins as her only non- practical strictly for her wish. graciously helped us fulfill that wish, put us to the head of the line and generously put extra love and care into this gift. As you can see these are not you basic design that was in our budget. Follow this artist!
