We have been bringing music into the homes of Okotoks for 27 years. As our name implies, our goal is to offer a studio to provide everything you need to complete an ARCT in any instrument for the serious student, or just to learn music for your own enjoyment. My name is Carla Humphreys and I am the owner of Music Central. I have loved music 🎼all of my life and I am so grateful to my parents for allowing me the privilege of learning to play the piano 🎹. This skill has given me so much pleasure and joy in my life. My parents arranged it and my teachers fulfilled their task of teaching me. I was not always the best student but with the encouragement of, especially my Mother, I kept at it and completed my ARCT in piano performance.

Now it is my turn to give what I have learned to others. I have taught piano lessons for over 50 years and have owned Music Central for 14 years. It is such a thrill for me to see students progress. That light bulb moment when they grasp a concept is just incredible to witness, as a teacher.

That is what I want at Music Central; more of those moments when a child (or any age student) gets it. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful teachers in this studio. We all care deeply about our students and want what we feel is best for them.
